and just like that....

...my allergies are back...man, I can almost pinpoint the exact moment that it happened. It was like someone flipped a horrible, horrible switch. Why would you do that to me? Arrgh!! Miserable times again! I don't know what the hell is wrong with me.

To top that off, today was one of the worse days that I have had at work in a long time. It's been stressful for a while now, but today sucked. It's no fun being the only one in your department on what used to be the slowest day of the week. I am pretty run down right now. This is definitely not the way I wanted to start off the week. Oh man, I hope it gets better from here....although, I doubt it.

Tonight, Ruby, Laura, Bernadette, and Alisson are at the Toyota Center watching Britney Spears. I hope that they have fun. I am sure that it is a spectacle, just like Britney's life, right!? It's only me and Raymond tonight here at the house, it's a shame that this sinus/allergy/head cold crap is messing with me. We played a little, but now I put the Upside Down Show on for him. He is all good now! It's almost time for me to get some temporary relief from a home remedy that seems to do just that. Two table spoons of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with warm water. It seems to clear you up. It was a little awkward to drink at first, but I think that I am getting used to it. Man, I need to just get better once and for all. Somebody help me!!

We've been keeping busy lately. The weekends have been booked the last two or three weekends. It's been fun too. I guess we need to take advantage of that while we can. Who knows what it is going to be like in a couple of months. Wow!! Am I right though? I think that the trend is going to keep on going for the next month too. He is a picture of me dressed up.

Well, that's my shoes. I like those shoes. I have had them for a long time, but I still like them. I don't really like to dress up too much. I don't really have a reason. I mean, why do we have to dress up? I don't know. Maybe if my clothes fit me a little better than I would like it more? I don't know...maybe not.

Anyhow, time for me to drink my home remedy stuff and chill with Raymond a little bit more. I have a lot of little things that I want to write about, so I will save those for another day....

Oh yeah! Tomorrow (3/31/09) Polly Jean (or simply, PJ) Harvey comes out with a new album. I am looking forward to it. I like her music, she is great. Here is the first single off of said album, I will be picking it up!!

I can't wait....

for this....it just screams "childhood" when I think of this...

I hope it is good. I think with Spike Jonez at the helm, it definitely has a shot. Who the hell knows though?!? In any case, I will see this at the movies...well, I hope...it is due in October, which I think something else is too....hmmmmm....

Not too much going on, but here are a couple of other things..

I took the following from a random website (www.wwtdd.com)

it makes perfect sense
For years Hollywood has tried to make a "Three Stooges" movie, but could never to find three actors good enough at physical comedy to recreate such recognizable characters. So now they’re just gonna just stop trying and make the movie anyway. Variety says...
MGM and the Farrelly brothers are closing in on their cast for "The Three Stooges."
Sean Penn will play Larry, and negotiations are underway with Jim Carrey to play Curly, with the actor already making plans to gain 40 pounds to approximate the physical dimensions of Jerome "Curly" Howard.
The studio is zeroing in on Benicio Del Toro to play Moe.
The film is not a biopic, but rather a comedy built around the antics of the three characters.
I just hope they have some kind of disclaimer so I can tell between the new version and the old one. If they don’t, I’ll just have to remember that in the old version, it was Larry who was Puerto Rican and mumbled incoherently, and Moe was the middle-aged one who was super angry and took human growth hormones. In the movie version, it’s the opposite.

i don't know how in the hell they are going to pull that one off....sounds almost like a joke to me...

I heard some where today that the Titans will be wearing OILER THROWBACK jerseys up to three times this coming NFL season. Man, that really sucks....It's not Bud Adams fault; the NFL will be honoring the 50th Anniversary of the old AFL. Speaking of, the NFL 2009 schedules are due out sometime in April, so it's fast approaching!

The Beach House is just about 7 weeks away!

That's about all of the random crap that I can think about for now....check back sometime this weekend for another update! (I hope)!

It's been a while....

...but I have been sick. Seriously...sick....I was just browsing over the last blog entry, and that was indeed the start of my run of being sick. It all started around the Super Bowl, and with the sinus problems...it was all down hill from there. For those who don't know, I have been off and on sick for almost the entire month of February and some of March. I almost can't remember what it is like to be well again. I can't wait to feel normal for more than a week or two in a row....

Because of me being sick, February was a weird month. It was good, yes, but being sick really killed it for me. I don't know if I can ever top February for seeing good live music. It was almost an amazing run for me. I mean, how can you top seeing Broken Social Scene, Johnny Goudie and the Little Champions, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, Arthur Yoria, and Tody Castillo, all in one month? To me, all of the shows that I saw were pretty much great. I would have a very hard time having to pick one show over another. I wish that I could elaborate on all of them, but I guess too much time has past for me to back track and try to remember, and then try to write it up. Either way, they were memorable shows, and shows that are going to be hard to top, and only in the second month of 2009. I do want to try and make at least a local show a month, but we will see how that works out.

It has been a fun month and a half though, despite me being sick. A lot has gone down and good times have indeed been had, but I have to say that the highlight would have to be the news that we are going to have twins. I mean, let's be serious, how could that not the to top headline in my life? Hands down, right!??! Of course!! It's definitely something I, or Ruby, was ever expecting. It's so hard to try and express how I feel. I never in a million years pictured being a father of three children. It's a bit weird in a way. It's going to be fun....well, I know it's going to be pretty tough at first. I mean, the first year and change might the toughest part. Well, I don't know, maybe not. I guess only time will dictate that and all I can do is try my best.

I have gotten so use to it being the three of us right now, that it is a little sad (just a little) in some way to know that it is going to change. I guess, the close of one chapter and the start of a new one, right?! Man, if I thought with Raymond's arrival was a life changer, the twins' arrival is going to be 100 times more life changing than that. As I had said a few times before, this should be interesting.

I can only assume that the rest of the year is going to be preparing for the new arrivals, so with that, I can assume as well that this blog will only help in chronicling the progress of the pregnancy. I mean, that's gotta be a safe assumption, wouldn't you agree? Well, for now I will just leave it at that. I think that this was a huge step for me just trying to update this blog. Hopefully it gets the ball rolling. Here are a picture of two from the live shows that I attended (I hope they come out alright, and I hope you enjoy!).
